Aliens 03:45
Aliens, I saw the flashing lights, Circling above the city sky. Aliens, I saw the flashing lights. Aliens. Aliens, though their form like yours or mine, I heard their voices, I looked into their eyes. Aliens. Holding on to the little books inside their hands, With a finger-print and a colour-photograph. At the borderline, their fears they must hide, Eyes straight ahead cause there's no looking back. Aliens, with tears in their eyes, I saw them leave and fly into the night. Aliens who live between the law Of where they go to, And where they're coming from. Of who they were and what they've yet to be. Of what they were and who they will become. Aliens.

Three lay upon a small grass patch, As if sleeping rough, With no haven to be found. Seven days into the new Spring, They knew they'd have to leave, But no one could guess how. Were they pushed beyond reason? Father, mother and step-son, Together they did plunge, From a tower deep in the sky. Blood spilled upon a road named Red, Did the thought enter their heads, As they came from high? Did they live beyond reason? Were they pushed or pulled to the grass, Where flowers and candles now lie. Where their counterparts identified, That their panic and fear is like ours, Where their chase, like cat and mouse, Ran out of corridors to be run down... They're always chasing you down... Always... Chasing you down...

Cruel Time 05:33
Blown away up to the air above the tree tops, Bare and naked, cold as the newborn. Hallow is the branch that falls to the wayside, It's sway will slow and and speed as the wind blows. Oh, how cruel is time, how it gives and takes away, When the water breaks and birth screams into life. And the doctors voice when he sends you home to die. Oh, we come and go. Blown away up to the air above the tree tops, Bare and naked, cold as the newborn. Twisted is the bow that withers in the star light, Its form reflecting the life of the grey roots. Oh, how cruel is time, how it gives and takes away, When the water breaks and birth screams into life. And the doctors voice when he sends you home to die. Oh, we come and go. Blown away up to the air above the tree tops, Bare and naked, cold as the newborn. Hallow is the branch that falls to the wayside, Time will slow and speed as the wind blows.

Dark Place 03:37
Dead night, dark place. Shadows embrace. In awe, here now. Hold on. Hold on. Falling in love. Beyond time and space, It lies. No to analyse. Hold on. Hold on. Falling in love.

To what are we tied, to who do we belong? We share these possessions, A hatred and a hope, A truth, overwhelming that struggles to be known. That flows from the outside, Inside, the substance of all we know. To what are we tied, by what are we seen? We fear dispossession of spirit, And of home. Subtle connections, shared by one and all, That flow from inside, Outside, the substance of all we know. All that we know is that we've been loved.

Lonely Wood 03:41
Down by the edge of the lonely wood, Its there that they hide, Where they are understood. Things of the night, Trapped in the light of moon, Biding their time, To emerge as one. Till the dawn breaks through, for you. Down by the edge of the lonely wood, Its there that they hide, Where they are understood. Always aware of tension and subtle fear, Never quite sure if things soon will be clear. Till the dawn breaks through, for you. By the edge, all hope is wearing thin, Cast aside, my true love and me. There's a line between hope and despair. You and I, we walk it always, Down by the edge, the edge of the wood.

The Search 04:30
At odds with the will of gods, Bereft of their guiding laws. My trust is only in you, The road that I now must choose. I walk with no end in sight, In search of the guiding light. My soul was torn in two, The pain drove a line right through. My trust is only in you, The road that I now must choose. I walk with no end in sight, In search of the guiding light. My trust is only in you.

His torn flesh and broken bone, 'neath the rubble and stone. Plumed, starched hat by his side, The shots continued to fly above. These little images are tied to a name, Little liberties eroding away. Eroding away. They made their advance down O'Connell Road, Past the gates of Rialto they stole, In silence they waited behind a wall, Till the air came alive with the fiery call above head. They were surrounded. His torn flesh and broken bone, 'neath the rubble and stone. Never to breath again, To kiss someone and feel love. These little images are tied to a name, Little liberties eroding away.
